What frames are you using to frame your worldview? Dr. Sophonie Milande Joseph’s conceptual photography and documentary filmmaking questions viewers’ reflections and encourages individual and collective paradigm shifts. Coming from a transformative worldview and building upon grassroots initiatives in the Caribbean and North America, her work questions what is traditionally considered ratchet and what’s considered rigorous. While her work is individual, Joseph’s practice engages world-building as a tool for community planning.
